We are sad to say that after 32 years of service our practice Manager Alison has retired. We thank her for her service and wish her the best of luck in her retirement.
Our receptionists are now Anna, Zac and Amber.
Flu shots are available. Please note that due to the high demand, we are booking a few weeks in advance. Please give us a ring to arrange an appointment.
The clinic will be set up in a gazebo in the driveway next to the practice itself, so that we can maintain appropriate social distancing. Please come at your designated time (no earlier) and a receptionist will guide you to a chair.
Your safety is our number one concern. So all our staff will be in full PPE and chairs will be cleaned between patients to ensure the highest of infection control.
– Do not attend if you are unwell!
– Arrive on time
– Be patient and respectful of our staff.
If it rains, the clinic will take place in the entrance of the practice.
We are now doing most of our consults over the phone. Please contact us to arrange a time. If you have an appointment booked in the near future, a receptionist will contact you a few days before your appointment.
Please note that Dr Noor and Dr Clayworth will still see patients face to face if it is absolutely necessary and our nurse Julie is still doing immunisations.

Merewether Ridge Street Surgery is thrilled to welcome Dr Ty Clayworth to our practice!
Having recently completed his fellowship exams, Dr Ty is competent in all areas of General Practice. He originally came from the small town of Wauchope, on the North Coast of NSW (about half an hour inland from Port Macquarie). He studied at UNSW and did a fair amount of his training at their rural clinical school in Port Macquarie, which he loved.
Ty has always wanted to be a GP as he likes the connections that you form with patients and their families. As Ty has recently become a dad, a lot of his goals and interests are centred around family.
Dr Ty will be available for consultations all day Wednesday and all day Friday.
We are delighted to welcome Doctor Ann Koshy to the Ridge Street Family.
Ann is a member of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, and has recently taken on a job with the University of Newcastle as a Medical Educator. Ann is enjoying teaching GP registrars & guiding them through their training.
Her interests are Women’s & Children’s Health. She offers a Mirena & Implanon service.
Ann starts work with us on Tuesday the 16th of April. She will work Tuesday afternoons & Thursday Mornings.
